Early Spring in Almaguin Mar 26/14

Ice on rocks rock ice fallsMany Seasonal residents in the Almaguin Highlands are not in our area during this season.  The unique views of our spring thaw are ones that should not be missed.  Although travel must be slower this time of year, with  frost coming out of the ground on back country roads, these leisurely drives can be awesome for taking unique pictures.  Breathtaking scenes of melting ice formations, waterfalls cascading down a rock face or just view hidden lakes that are camouflaged by foliage most of the year.  Staying in a cottage and being here as the ice breaks on the lake is a fascinating experience.  Great promotions for making your stay enjoyable and affordable are also available – visit:   http://explorersedge.ca/fuelandfun/    Now is a wonderful time to view property throughout the area  if you are looking for a year round retreat or vacant land to see conditions of roads, the topography without the foliage and what conditions you must be aware of for year round cottage use.  More listings this past week so have a look at my website:   http://www.louisamoffit.com/

About Louisa Moffit

I have been a REALTOR® for the past 21 years and love the area and communities I work in. When showing property or taking listings I always travel with my four legged companions. My clients and I enjoy their company when walking through the forest viewing pristine vacant property which they are interested in purchasing. My dog’s antics through the snow is also a source of amusement to everyone. Getting serious however… viewing properties throughout the area can be a daunting task without the expertise of a real estate agent who knows the area well. That is why I am your “Go To” REALTOR® for Undiscovered Cottage Country – The Almaguin Highlands
